The
newest domestic airline in Myanmar, was established in
November, 2004. It currently has a fleet of four
aircraft: one 108-seat Fokker 100 jet, one 70-seat ATR
72 And two 45-seat ATR 42-320 turboprop aircraft. Air
Bagan serves 14 domestic destinations including Yangon,
Mandalay, Bagan ( Nyaung U ), Heho, Tachileik, Kyaing
Tong, Dawei, Myeik, Thandwe , Myitkyina, Putao, Pathein,
Sittwe and Kawthaung.

The
first regional joint venture airline in Myanmar, was
formed on October 6, 1994.
Air Mandalay currently fly to all major destinations in
Myanmar and to Chiang Mai in Thailand. Air Mandalay’s
modern fleet is currently comprises two ATR 72-212s and
one ATR 42-320, built by Aerospatiale of France and
Alenia of Italy and powered by Canadian built Pratt &
Whitney engines.
