Day 1 Arrival Yangon
- Arrive Yangon International Airport. Meet with the Local
Tour Guide and transfer to Hotel.
- Late afternoon Shwedagon Light up Sightseeing.
- Overnight at hotel.
Day 2 Ancient Bagan
- After breakfast, take morning flight to Bagan. Bagan
full day sightseeing. Highlights include 11th century
Shwezigon Pagoda, Kubyaukgyi temple, Bagan daily market &
Lacquerware workshop.
- Visit archeological museum, Anada and Thatbyinnyu
Temples. Enjoy the sunset at Bupaya Pagoda.
- Night stop in Bagan.
Day 3 Mt. Popa
- Morning, 11/2 hour drive to Mt. Popa. Climb 777 steps of
extinct volcano, which is the home for the 37 Nats
(Spirits).
- Visit Southeast Bagan : Minnanthu village, Lemyethna
Temple, Payathonzu Temple and Nandamanya Temple.
- Overnight in Bagan.
Day 4 Mighty Ayeyarwaddy
- After breakfast, begin a boat trip to Mandalay on the
longest river in Myanmar: "Ayeyarwaddy". Noticing the life
style along the riverbank, one can enjoy the sights and
sounds on the down riverboat trip.
- After arrival transfer to hotel.
- Night stop in Mandalay.
Day 5 Cultural Center Mandalay
- After breakfast, flight to Mandalay. Sightseeing
Mandalay: Kywezun Jetty (Water buffalo working with Teak
logs), Shwenandaw monastery, Kuthowdaw Pagoda, and Mandalay
Hill.
- Mandalay / Mingun: by boat across the Ayeyarwaddy river.
Visit to Myatheindan Pagoda, Mingun bell, Settawya Pagoda,
and village, return to Mandalay.
- Night stop in Mandalay.
Day 6 Mandalay Environ and Hill station Pyin Oo Lwin (May
Myo)
- Excursion to Amarapura & Sagaing : Visit Mahamuni Image,
famous for collection of Buddha statues, MahaGandayon
monastery, U Bein wooden Bridge, Ava Bridge and Sagaing
Hills: a place for Buddhist devotees.
- Drive to Maymyo: a hill station of Mandalay (3) hrs.
- Overnight at Hotel.
Day 7 Pyin Oo Lwin and back to Mandalay
- Colonial Style Horse driven cart or Bicycle tour around
the hilly resort, Maymyo.
- Visit: Botanical Garden, Waterfall & Market.
- Return to Mandalay by car (3) hrs.
- Overnight at Hotel.
Day 8 Shan Plateau
- Long hour drive to Kalaw experiencing the change in
climate and landscape.
- Overnight at Hotel.
Day 9 Pindaya Cave to Lake Inlay
- Drive to Pindaya. Visit Pindaya Lake and Pindaya Cave,
Shan Umbrella Making Industry, and Aung Ban Market.
- Proceed to Inle Lake.
- Overnight at Hotel.
Day 10 Lake Inle
- Excursion of Inle Lake, witnessing the unique
leg-rowers, floating gardens, floating islands and the
mystical Paung Daw Oo Pagoda.
- Overnight at hotel.
Day 11 Back to Yangon
- After breakfast, transfer to airport. Fly back to
Yangon.
- Visit Bogyoke Aung San Market (Scott Market), National
Museum, World Peace Pagoda (Kaba Aye Pagoda), Sule Pagoda,
Botahtaung Pagoda.
- Overnight at hotel.
Day 12 Departure Day
- After breakfast, free at leisure.
- Afternoon, transfer to Yangon International Airport.
- Leave Yangon.
